1985 VF700F Interceptor Awesome paintjob and great sounding motor at 24000 miles. I put this Interceptor together for pictures to showcase the services I offer at my shop. It started off that I was just going to do a little polishing and powder coating, but when I started putting the bike back together the things that weren\’t touched looked horrible so wound up virtually redoing everything except new bolts to the motorcycle. Things that have been done: Replaced stock body with a set that has a holographic flake on a black background. The flakes disappear or change colors from different angles. The tank also has stars and ghosts airbrushed in. There are some scratches and rubs in the paint, the worst have been touched up with black paint, but overall the paint looks marvelous. I didn\’t have the matching front fender so painted one gloss black to match and should be a good base if you find a painter to match the rest of the bike. Exhaust is a Vance and Hines Supersport from a VF100F Interceptor. Sounds great on the V4 engine. The exhaust is from a larger bike and didn\’t line up perfectly on the right side causing an exhaust leak, a new gasket or an added length of pipe at the flange will fix it. I put the exhaust on to show the swingarm I polished, plus sounds way better than the stock exhaust even with the leak. There\’s an aftermarket seat on it, not sure the brand. I\’ve cleaned and rebuilt the carburetors with new seals, o-rings, and jets. Also added a K&N filter ……
