I took my 1979 Honda XL500S out on the morning of January 20th, 2012 to look at the flooding caused by the Marys River between Corvallis and Philomath, Oregon. Several of the roads I encountered were impassible by motorcycle. Some were even impassible by large pickup truck. I went down Belfountain Road, 53rd Avenue, 15th Street, Chapel Drive, Llewellyn Road, and Airport Road which all had flooding. Stay safe everyone! More photos here: wp.me…
