Adjusting the valve clearances on my 2009 Suzuki TU250x. Step 9 link Use a 17mm wrench to remove the valve adjustment covers. Just like the classic retro style of the bike, these valve adjustment covers like many bikes used to have back in the day make a valve adjustment a 15-20 minute job on this bike once you\’ve done it a couple times. These days with a Rifle Sport Fairing to make it more aerodynamic and a 16 tooth sprocket, I\’m averaging 75-78 mpg and most of the time I\’m doing about 70-80 mph. This bike is awesome and super fun to ride, not to mention I actually smile every time I turn into a gas station….
